Charles J. Sticklen, Jr.
Charles (Charlie) J. Sticklen, Jr. was born in St. Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1988. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, in 1991. His law practice has always been focused primarily in the area of personal injury law, helping injured persons throughout southwest Missouri secure their rights and gain just compensation.
Charlie is currently licensed in the states of Missouri (since 1991) and Kansas (since 1992). He is a current member of the Missouri Bar Association, Jasper County Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), and American Association for Justice.
Joe Crosthwait
Joe Crosthwait is originally from the suburbs of Kansas City, Kansas. He did his undergraduate work in Economics at The University of Missouri at Kansas City, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, and continued there at the UMKC Law School, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1985.
Since beginning his law practice in the Joplin area, Joe has handled a wide variety of cases and clients in many areas of the law. Since joining with Charlie Sticklen in 1999, Joe has concentrated his law practice in the area of personal injury law, representing individual persons throughout Southwest Missouri who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others.
Joe and his wife Janece live in Joplin, and are active members of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, where Joe has served on the governing Administrative Council, the Staff-Parish Relations Committee, and where he also plays acoustic guitar in the praise band. On behalf of the broader church, Joe is also a Certified Lay Speaker and a Member of The Board of Trustees for the Southwest District of the UMC's Missouri Conference, In addition to playing music with the guitar, Joe spends time running, and cooking, and watching a little too much TV.
Joe is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and is a member of both the Missouri and Jasper County Bar Associations.
